New Show at Pacific Grove Art Center opens September 1

On September 1, 2023 Don Kellogg will open a new show "Winter Light" at the Pacific Grove Art Center. This show will feature over 20 large new images of Yosemite Valley in the wintertime when pristine winter light and unspoiled nature combine to create something beautiful. The crowds and congestion of the summertime are replaced with an almost spiritual sense of calm and serenity.

This show will feature work done through film capture and then scanning to digital files and through digital capture alone over a period of over twenty years. After considerable post capture processing and manipulation the images are printed on a large format printer. The images are then matted and framed using archival techniques.

The Opening Reception will occur on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The Pacific Grove Art Center is located at 568 Lighthouse Avenue in Pacific Grove, California. The opening hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm and on Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The exhibit will continue through October 26.
